Never enable macros or enable content in an email attachment

Ransomware shut down CNA, a cybersecurity insurance company recently. Ransomware is a form of malware, which has been a growing tactic of hackers and cyber attackers over the last several years. Most of this is delivered via phishing, and an increasingly used technique is to get the user to Enable Content or Enable Macros from an attachment they’ve sent. Once the Enable Content button is clicked, the malware is delivered, allowing the attacker to take advantage of the user or company they’ve infected.
